Third times a charm

Well here I am again, working on my assignments for the week. I am getting so anxious because today my federal income tax refund got deposited and I am only a few short days away from getting my brand new laptop computer. I'm excited about having Windows 7 and getting rid of the headache of WindowsXP. I've had my current desktop computer close to ten years now and it is ready to be put to rest or at least I'll let my kids bang away on it until it dies. Unfortunately half of my refund has to go to pay my mother back, but I'm going to try to hang onto as much of it as I can so that next year when I get my refund it will be all mine. Although next year I'll probably have to buy another car as my daughter is getting to the age where she needs to start learning how to drive.

How I feel about being an online student

I love being an online student for a few reasons. Like I don't have to travel and sit in a classroom with a bunch of random people. I can be comfortable, relaxed, at home, and in my pajamas-who's going to know unless I tell them? I have more time to spend with my kids by not having to go to a classroom. The only part I have trouble with from time to time is the self-discipline part. Some days I really have to push myself to get on the computer and get things done. Especially on days when I've just worked four-ten hour days and the only thing I want to do on the first day off is sleep and rest. But so far I've managed to get it all done and have some pretty impressive results. Now I just can't wait for it all to be over so I can get going on a good career and enjoy the "fruits of my labor".
